Hola again!! Another pday in the CCM has come!! Time here has gone by pretty dang fast, and I know it will only get faster! Anyways, how is everybody doing back home?? What are some new things that are happening? Mexico has been great!! The weather has cooled down this week, so I love that!! But now it is almost time to head out to Argentina! Next week is my last full week here, then I will be gone! When I first got here and realized that I would be here for a month, I thought holy moly that is forever!!!! But time really does fly by when you are busy getting prepared to do the work of the Lord! The language is improving! Slowly, but it is improving! I am understanding people so well now, but it is hard to speak it! But I know I am getting Heavenly help, because I am meant to learn this language! All things are possible because of our Savior!
Well this week was full of classes, and a little bit of classes, and some more classes! They are really cracking down now on using Spanish all the time, and I know that next week they REALLY will crack down on it! Which is going to suck, but it will be great at the same time! I am looking forward to really getting the language down, but I know that comes with time but I know it will happen! My highlight of the week was being able to watch TP, or Tyler Patterson for those of you that don't know, open up his call! I got permission from the President of the CCM to join in and watch it! It made me reflect on when I opened mine, and the feelings I had. I was so excited! I was terrified! I was everything!! But one thing that I have learned is that there is a reason why you got called to that place. So Tyler if you read this email, I want you to know how proud I am of you! What an incredible step you took, and the blessings that you will get from that will be eternal man! Never forget that you were called to Chile, by inspiration! I look forward to finding out why I was called to Cordoba Argentina, and I can't wait for you to find out why you were called to Chile! By the way, I looked on the map and your mission in Chile is literally at the bottom of the world!!
Well a good experience I had this week, was I had the opportunity to give a member in my district a priesthood blessing. As many of ya'll know, my biggest trial I have been going through for what seems like forever is doubt! I doubt my worthiness of being here, I doubt that I am great in the eyes of God, for some reason I just love to doubt! That experience I had with the priesthood blessing helped me feel so much peace! It was a blessing to me, that out of all the people in the room he looked at me, and asked that I would give him a blessing. Priesthood blessings not only bless the ones who are receiving the blessing, but they also bless the ones who are giving the blessing. How wonderful of a blessing it is, to have the power of the priesthood on the earth!
Well I want you all to know how important our Savior is to me. One thing that I really love about this place is that they have pictures of the Savior EVERYWHERE! There are two on the wall right in front of me right now actually! I just love Him so much! He is our big brother! He knows us personally, and perfectly and just knowing that makes up all the difference. He knows the feelings I have when I struggle with doubt and the incredible thing is that He is ALWAYS there with His hand stretched out for you! I hope you guys understand that!
I love you guys! I look forward to hearing from all of you!
Love, Elder Weese
