Howdy everybody! How was the week for yall? I hope things are going well back home!!
This week was great!! We are seeing a lot of success in Bell Ville! We have taught so many lessons, and have been getting so much help from the members! I couldn't ask for more!
We put another one of our friends on date, his name is Joaquin! He's the son of Noelia and Juan and we have been teaching this family for a while now! The parents need to get married, but Noelia wants to be baptized as well so we will be making that happen! We have been working a lot with Juan to help him grow a testimony but it has been a little tough because he is a pretty heavy catholic. But they've been coming to church on Sundays so they are heading in the right direction!! The baptism of Joaquin will help them so much!
We did exchanges as well this week with some other Elders! I was with Elder Costa who is from Brazil, and is pretty dang new in the mission! We were able to help them boost the confidence in the area by putting a date for them, and chatting a little bit with the bishop to start a ward mission plan so things are looking good!
The zone is doing fantastic!! All the missionaries have been pouring out there hearts to the work so I couldn't be happier!
CRAZY NEWS
So yesterday while we were walking in the street we get a phone call from Pres Zanni. Come to find out my companion Elder Abrea is the next AP! So we are on a bus right now on our way to drop him off in Córdoba, and to pick up my new comp who is Elder Cunningham!
I also got to speak in church yesterday! I spoke about Personal Progress! And listed 4 things we can do, to progress in life.
1) Daily Repentance
2) Daily scripture study
3) Daily prayer
4) Weekly church attendance (don't allow yourselves to miss a Sunday, it is so important!)
The longer I have been on the mission, the bigger my testimony has gotten on these 4 things. I promise you that if you want to sew yourself progress, if you want to feel the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, do these 4 things!
Have a wonderful week!
Chau
Love, Elder Weese
