Week 93: Transfers 2/29/2024

Howdy everybody! How are yall? Things have been real busy down here! Today is my pday because of transfers! Right now we are a trio as AP's! Élder Nelson came into the office as well, with me and Élder Davies and He is a goat! He's from Spanish Fork.

Planning transfers was a fun experience! My testimony of revelation grew a ton as we spent many ours with the mission president and his wife, deciding where to send missionaries! Lemme tell ya, we have the best missionaries in the world here in the MAC! 🇦🇷

We've been grinding in our area as much as we can! We are teaching another family from Venezuela, a family from Peru, and about 2 or 3 from Argentina! Families are Eternal!!

Today we were at the bus terminal all morning! Moving missionaries around, making sure that they'd make it to their areas and helping them find their companions!

The mission is the best! I want to share a couple of thoughts that I've had during my personal studies. I’ve been focusing my studies on how to be the best missionary that I can be, and how I need live my life when I get home. One thing really caught my eye. I was listening to the talk, "Let God Prevail" by our prophet and he said a few things that hit me really hard. One of them being, "We often pray that we and the missionaries will be led to those who are prepared to receive the truths of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I wonder, to whom will we be led when we plead to find those who are willing to let God prevail in their lives?" Another one being, "Are you willing to let God prevail in your life? Are you willing to let God be the most important influence in your life? Will you allow His words, His commandments, and His covenants to influence what you do each day? Will you allow His voice to take priority over any other? Are you willing to let whatever He needs you to do take precedence over every other ambition? Are you willing to have your will swallowed up in His?"

If any of you doubt, or wonder what you need to do with your life, please follow the counsel of our prophet. I promise you that God will send the Holy Ghost to guide your path and to comfort your heart, trust me, He has been doing that for me everyday😊

Anyways I love yall! Send me updates! Crazy to think that Elder Astle will be home in a couple of days haha! Anyways, have a great week!

Love, Élder Weese

Week 92: Baptism Week 2/19/2024

Howdy family and friends! How are ya? This week was great! Full of its ups and downs, but more miracles!😁

During the week we did some exchanges in Bell Ville! I was there for 4 and a half months so it was so fun to go back! I went with an Elder who we call "Élder Fuego" haha you'll see why when I send pictures. His name is Élder Nelson and he is a GOAT!!

This week we also went to an area call Cosquin, which is North West from the capital of Córdoba! I was with Élder Terry, who also is a GOAT! We also went to an area called Marcos Juarez, and I was with the tallest Élder in the mission, Élder Card. He's 6'7" haha so I felt pretty short around him haha! But they were all great exchanges! My mission is literally the best! It has the best missionaries in the world!

This weekend we had the baptism of our friends Oriana, Nairovi, and Luis who are a family that has lived in Argentina for 4 years! They are from Venezuela and moved to Argentina looking for a better life. We also baptized our friend Agustin, who is 13 years old and for the past year he has wanted to get baptized in our church! It was so great!

Anyways I love all of you! Stay happy and healthy!

Love, Élder Weese

Week 91: President Zanni is the G.O.A.T. 2/12/2024

Howdy everybody! How was the week? How did the superbowl go? Don't worry, I’ll be there for the next one haha!

My week was great! It started off with my birthday and my grandpas birthday! I hope you had a great birthday bobby g!! It was a great day though! I went to the dentist to get a broken tooth fixed haha! President Zanni also took us out to dinner to celebrate because hes a GOAT!!

But the week was great! I got to go back too Guiñazú and Catamarca for exchanges! So fun to see the miracles and to relive a lot of the experiences that I had in those places!

Sunday was really cool! We had a ton of people in the church building and all the members were being so helpful! We showed all our friends the baptismal font and the members were inviting our friends to be baptized!

Anyways sorry for the short email! Its been a busy day! Have a great week!

Week 90: Zone Conferences 2/5/2024

Howdy folks! How was your week? I hope everything is going well for ya back home!

My week was extremely busy! We had zone conferences so we had to get everything ready for it! But everything turned out great!! Ill send some of the pics that I got from it! All the missionaries left with enthusiasm!

During zone conferences we went up to La Rioja, which is the zone I was in for a long time when I started my mission! Lots of memories came to my mind as we were there, especially the heat of the sun!

I also was able to run up some exchanges with some Elders serving in an area called Antartida! In that exchange I got super sick because I was drinking the water that the people were giving me but we kept grinding, and were able to put 3 sons of god on date!!

Weve also been pretty busy in the office because of some emergency transfers! But I know that the hand of the Lord has been in every detail of it!

Anyways I love you all and hope that you all have a safe week!

Love Élder Weese
