Week 80: Griselda’s Baptism 11/27/2023

Howdy everybody! How was the week for yall? This past week was just spent on helping Griselda be all ready for her baptism!! 

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving! Remember to be grateful for all the things God has given ya!!

Griseldas baptism went really well! I'll send all the pictures!! 

It's crazy to think that there is 1 more week in the transfer! I've been in San Jorge for 2 transfers, I might leave sadly but who knows!!

Anyways I don't have a whole Lotta time so I'll end her here! Love yall!!

Week 79: El Bautismo De Leandro!! 11/13/2023

Howdy everybody!! How was your week? I hope all is well back home!! I love yall!!

This week was really good!! Really focusing ourselves hard on getting everything prepared for Leandros baptism!! For those of you who don't know Leandro, he was a leader from an Evangelist church who we found about a month ago and became converted by reading and praying about the book of mormon. An absolute miracle!!

His baptism was on Saturday and his confirmation was on Sunday and it all went so perfectly!! We had his baptism in María Teresa's backyard, who is the older lady we baptized a month ago. She has a pool, and a really nice house so it all just went so well!! It was such a cool experience!! The mission president and his wife came over to see the baptism! They spoke a little bit at the baptism as well! There were 14 people there!! Crazy!!

The next day at his confirmation, we had about 11 people. It was really cool to be a part of helping Leandro follow his Savior. Leandro that same night, left with us to go teach some of our friends. He also showed us a bunch of other places to go too!! He is a disciple of Jesus Christ.

I can't really remember all that much from this week because I am just still blown away with the miracle of Leandro! I know that this is the work of our God, and He wants ALL of His children to come back into his rest. We all need to put our hand to the plow, and be apart of this great work!

I love you all!! You're in my prayers everyday. I want you to remember how much your Savior loves each of you. I know that He paid the price for our sins, He did it freely. Come unto Him, and He will give you rest!! I promise you that He will!!

Week 78: Conferencia de estaca: 11/6/2023

Howdy everybody, how was your week? I hope all is well and that you are all staying safe and happy!

My week was really good! I finally freed up some space in my Google account so now I can post pictures on my Google photos (if you wanna be in that, let me know) Our friends that we are teaching are doing very well!! This weekend, we will be baptizing our friends Leandro Martínez and Griselda Chiara!! Their progression has been so cool to watch!! Please keep them in your prayers.

We also did exchanges with the zone leaders! I was with Elder Tanner, who is from Utah! He went to Olympus for high school. We had a fun exchange in the rain! 

This week, we also had zone conferences!! And I got some crazy news in the conference!! They are splitting my mission and opening a mission called the Argentina Tucuman mission! I started my mission up north in Catamarca and spent some time up in Catamarca, La Rioja, Aimogasta, and Chilecito. Those areas will now be in the Argentina Tucuman mission! I will be home by the time that they do the split, but isn't that crazy news??

Our mission was also able to baptize 105 people in the month of October! As a mission, we haven't completed 100 baptisms since 2017!! Incredible!! We made sure to celebrate a little bit by cutting a cake, haha!

We also had a stake conference here!! We traveled to San Francisco in a little van that we rented so our friends could come with us too! It's about an hour and a half of a drive! It was really good! I learned a lot! Also, I was very happy to be able to see our friends there participating!
