Howdy everybody!! How y'all doing!? I hope your week was great and that you recognized the Lord's hand in your life.
My week went well!!! We had our zone conference which was really fun and really spiritual! If yall are on my Google photos you have seen the pictures but if not, I'll throw em in here anyway!! But the topic that I loved the most, which was brought up many times was faith. The Lord has asked us as missionaries to change the way that we work, and to focus all our efforts on the members. The 2 reasons why faith was brought up was these:
1) As missionaries, we need to have faith that this is how the Lord wants us to work. Why? Because if we don't work in this way, we aren't doing the Lord's will and that is what we are here to do. 2) We need to strengthen the faith of the members so that they know that they can participate in this great work of gathering the Lord's sheep. I loved the idea that was brought up on how to do it and honestly Elder Neilson and I have done it a few times and have seen a lot of success through it. It is that we go to visit the members and we teach them part of a lesson, for example the restoration. When we finish teaching the part we assign them to study the rest of the lesson, and teach it to us when we come back. Like I said Elder Neilson and I reactivated a family because of this and now we are going to focus on it some more!
Like usual, we got to go on many exchanges!! The Elders in our zone our STUDS! I can't believe how blessed Elder Neilson and I are to be their zone leaders. Exchanges honestly make the week fly by it is crazy!
I would like to end this one with my testimony of the reality of personal revelation. I know that when we pray and seek for answers with real intent, we will hear the voice of the spirit. I promise that each and everyone of you can receive this guidance in your own life. Please, act on the spiritual impressions that you receive, it is for your own benefit.
